Are the ominous events related to the true crime book Emily is writing? To the ten year anniversary of the unsolved disappeared of a local college student? Or to a builder's dream of a local college student? Or to a builder's dream of creating a community of miniature homes at any cost? In a team effort, Susan, Mike, and their friends band together to restore harmony to the idyllic community of Sugarbury Falls, Vermont.

Persuaded by all the glowing 5-Star reviews, I downloaded this to my Kindle. How I wish I'd paid more attention to the single 3-Star review...but it was to brief to be truly helpful. However, only about thirty pages into this story I knew I could not continue. The writing was, as that other review stated (making a pun, perhaps intentionally) "elementary", rather than collegiate; the word I would actually use is trite. In any case, I knew I could not continue. I was certain the book was going to get worse, not better.Product details

Murder Is Collegiate A Susan Wiles School House Mystery edition by Diane Weiner Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
A vacation with friends, turns up dealing with a murder. Emily writes mystery books was it something in them, or something from the past, or was the target to be Emily. The reader is caught up into this plot from the beginning, with questions. Which keeps you to the ending of who. Good characters and good flowing plot.
I enjoy mystery stories. The author writes about two senior aged couples interested in crime solving, especially a crime envolving people they know. The character's come alive as they are interduced. They methodically investigate each new clue uncovered, much to the aggravation of the police detectives assigned to the case.
This book held my attention with its interesting story line and characters. I do have to say that I figured out who the killer was about half way through, but enjoyed seeing how the author brought it all together. I did think that the timeline was a bit off a couple of times, but it was still an enjoyable read.b
This is a fun mystery. Mike an Susan on on vacation visiting their friends Emily and Henry. Emily is working on a murder novel The murder took place ten years before. While Susan is visiting Emily two murders take place. One of the murders was really intended for Emily. This is an exciting mystery. It keeps the readers interest. A must read mystery.
I've been a fan of this series since the very first book.
Susan is a fun character and she creates some true laugh out loud moments.
This book takes place in Vermont, Susan and her husband Mike are visiting old friends. Henry is a retired doctor and his wife Emily teaches at the local college.
The relaxing vacation takes a turn for the worse when a college teacher is bludgeoned to death.
Susan wonders if Emily was the intended target since she is writing a true crime book about a missing girl from ten years ago.
Susan and Emily begin to investigate and soon find themselves face to face with the murderer.
I loved the setting of the story, the snowy small town was perfect. Emily and Henry are likeable characters and they made a wonderful addition to the story.
This series keeps me turning the pages, I really didn't want this story to end.
I can't wait to read more in this great series.
I couldn't get into this book at all. The characters were flat and the writing style was very distancing, as well as having a number of POV breaks. It's completely failing as a distraction from my cold.
this is the first book I’ve read in the series, Susan is annoying and somewhat graceless. I find that a lot of the characters are frustrating and one-dimensional. I really really wanted to love the story but honestly it was super predictable and somewhat boring. Kind of like an old mystery show that you seen 100 times. After the first chapter you kind of know what’s going to happen and in some ways it’s comforting and another is is just boring.
